Plogging originated in Sweden and blends running or walking and picking up rubbish along the way. With over 8 million tonnes of plastic entering our oceans each year, I'm passionate about doing my bit to save the environment. These regular plogs allow me to bring together my love for exercise and a way to help stop plastic and rubbish entering our oceans.
Our free plogs are monthly occurances and are based around South West London offering both a 5k run and a 2k walk to cater for all fitness levels. Do your bit to help your local community and raise your endorphin levels at the same time!
Our next free plog will be held on Monday 1st October at 6pm at Putney Common.
There will be a 1 mile walk and a 5k run, all being led by myself and my team so you won't get lost! Followed by a drink in the Telegraph pub afterwards.
